Beijing University of Chinese Medicine will recruit a total of 30 academic leaders. Five academic leaders are needed for each school or hospital respectively. Experts with the following academic background are needed by different schools:
(1) School of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Biomedical fields including Anatomy, Histoembryology, Physiology, Pathology, Nutrition, Preventive Medicine, Rehabilitative Medicine, Moleculobiology, big data and etc
(2) School of Chinese Materia Medica: Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or Microbiology related background. Experts with the research interest in Chinese or traditional herbs are preferred.
(3) School of Life Sciences: Microbiology Immunology, Phenotyping Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, Systemic Biology, Histological Engineering (Human Organ Modeling), Biomedical Materials. Experts with cross-discipline background and research interest in life sciences are preferred.
(4) School of Acupuncture and Tuina: Neurophysiology, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Rehabilitative Medicine, Medical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence. 
(5) The First School of Clinical Chinese Medicine (Dong Zhi Men Hospital): Basic Medicine (Encephalopathy, Nephropathy, Cardiovascular and Liver Diseases), Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-based Medicine. 
(6) The Second School of Clinical Chinese Medicine (Dong Fang Hospital): Interventional Radiology, Oncological Immunology, Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Pathology (Molecular Pathology), Vascular Surgery, Reproductive Medicine and Laboratory Center.

Qualifications Required:
1. Ph.D. degree with a position of tenured associate professor or above or with ongoing postdoctoral work. Must have a minimum three consecutive years of overseas work experiences for (1)-(6).
2. Outstanding academic achievements in his or her field and published high-quality papers in the top or famed academic journals for (1)-(6).
3. Applicants must have the following qualities: team-work player, commitment to work and dedication to research, and active involvement in team building beside personal development.
4. Additional notes
(1) School of Chinese Materia Medica: Research fields in the gut microbiome, steric chemistry, complex compound or omics studies are preferred. 
(2) The First School of Clinical Chinese Medicine (Dong Zhi Men Hospital): Applicants must have published at least 2 papers in journals (IF 10 or higher) as the first or corresponding author in the past five years.
