Development of Chinese Medicine and High-Level Talents
Workshop & Recruitment
March 31, 2018, the US Center for Chinese Medicine of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine held the "Development of Chinese Medicine and High-Level Talents Workshop & Recruitment." The purpose is to promote the development of Chinese medicine, explore and reveal the unique cognition and regular pattern in Chinese Medicine on human life, and serve human health. We invite experts and scholars who are interested in research in the life science of Chinese Medicine to join Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The opening speech was first given by President Anlong Xu, followed by the speech of “Executive Talent and Professional Career Management Secrets in the Global Village” by the former Chief Financial Officer of the US Department of Labor Samuel T. Mok. NIH Expert Ashely Xia gave a speech “Ancient Intelligence in Modern Era: Future of TCM.” Also, the dean of the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Feng Li lectured on "Modern Biology Mechanism and Clinical Study of Treatment with Withdrawal Syndrome by TCM." The event attracted nearly 100 people from NIH, FDA, alumni, and embassies of China to attend.
The overseas recruitment plan from March 28 to April 2 was led by President Anlong Xu. During the stay in U.S., a special job fair was held at Harvard University, US Center for Chinese Medicine, and Stanford University. It attracted a lot students and scholars to participate in recruitment activities. At the job fair, through various forms of communication such as preaching and discussion, the students learned more about our school, showed a high level of enthusiasm for coming to our school, and gave high expectations for the future development of our school. In the follow-up, the candidates will dock with each various school to implement the work.
